Application Process
LAMB strongly urges all interested parents to attend an Open House. Applications will be distributed at Open Houses and can be returned to LAMB via mail, fax (202) 722-4125, or dropped off at the school (1375 Missouri Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20011).
Open houses are scheduled for the following Wednesdays:
- January 13, 2010 | 9:00 a.m.
- January 27, 2010 | 5:00 p.m.
- February 10, 2010 | 9:00 a.m.
- February 24, 2010 | 5:00 p.m.
- March 10, 2010 | 10:00 a.m.
- March 24, 2010 | 5:30 p.m.
- April 7, 2010 | 9:00 a.m.
Lottery will be held on April 15th, 2010 at 10:00am
In order to follow the DLE model and to ensure language balance, we will fill our slots from the lottery. Parents and community members are invited to attend the lottery drawing.
Applicants who are offered a space at the school will be sent an enrollment form to complete. Any family which receives a space at the school, but fails to submit any required forms (including health certificates and an Emergency Contact form) by the dates specified by the school, will be replaced by the first applicant on the waiting list.
Applicants who do not receive a space at the school will automatically be placed on a waiting list. Families will be eligible to remain on the waiting list and will be notified of any opening if their child(ren) is/are still within the age range (3- and 4-year olds on or before September 30).
Families of enrolled students will be asked to resubmit enrollment forms for the following year so that the school knows how many open places it will have.
