Ways to Give

LAMB has created a vanguard position among D.C. Public Schools by effectively leveling the playing field for many children, who might not otherwise have an opportunity to receive a quality bilingual education. Our school’s culture is continually developing to incorporate the best practices that research and our experience have demonstrated are most effective for bilingual learning.

How Can Your Donation Help LAMB?

Fund the operations of our existing school facility and its state-of-the-art wing.
Support existing programs such as after-school tutoring.
Help establish an endowment fund to service the mortgage of the building acquisition and renovation costs.
Fund the build of three new primary classrooms at our second location which will open in the fall of 2011.

Why Are Donations Necessary?

The District of Columbia provides a per pupil allotment, but more funds are needed to ensure that our children continue to receive a quality bilingual education in our renovated and expanded historic building. Philanthropic aid from parents, individuals and organizations are necessary to bridge the gap in funding so that LAMB can sustain its vibrant educational model that prepares students to succeed both academically and socially in the challenging world ahead.

Donations Will Enable Our Children To:

Thrive in a safe and secure environment, where their cultures and languages are affirmed in a manner that leaves no question about their value as human beings.
Excel academically.

In What Forms May Gifts Be Made To LAMB?
