LAMB offers a fun, bilingual, and engaging Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) program for all Pre-K3 - 5th grade students. Our mission is to create exploration and enrichment spaces before and after school where students, families, and staff foster a sense of belonging for our LAMB community. The program offers extracurricular enrichment, allowing students to acquire new skills while supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development.  BASE is a lottery-based program that follows the same guidelines as My School DC for LAMB PCS.

Before care:
Primary: 7:15 - 8:15 AM
Elementary: 7:15 - 8:00 AM
Children enjoy art projects, reading, music, dancing, and free play with our caring bilingual staff. Our morning program provides students with a gentle and creative start to their school day. Breakfast is available to all students..

After school:
Primary: 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Elementary: 3:15 - 6:00 PM  

Children enjoy a variety of activities, including free play, reading, dance, outdoor recess, cooking, sports, and hands-on arts and crafts with our caring bilingual staff.  Our afternoon program provides students with extended time and space to learn, play, and be with school classmates.  A snack is available to all students.

School Calendar
BASE follows the LAMB Academic Calendar and is open daily on regular school days. Please note that BASE is closed on staff professional development days and school holidays.

Enrichment Activities
BASE is excited to offer a variety of enrichment activities throughout the school year and which vary by season. Activities may include art, chess, piano and guitar lessons, soccer training, zumba, and yoga. BASE staff selects activities that are engaging, fun, hands-on experiences supporting students’ growth and creativity. Some activities may incur an additional cost.
