LAMB is governed by a Board of Directors who provide fiscal oversight and set our policies and goals. The Board is comprised of up to fifteen members, some of whom are from the greater community and some of which are parents. In addition, the board has several committees. These committees have board members, staff members, and LAMB parents.

The board meets approximately every six weeks, with committees meeting in the interim. In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, LAMB’s Board Meetings are open to the public. This part of the meeting begins at 5:30 and lasts approximately an hour. The agenda typically includes committee updates, an overview of the Executive Director report, and discussions of reports, proposals, issues, and votes. Only work that falls under the OMA act “exceptions” are considered in closed sessions.
